Weekly Departures from Istanbul Between April and November
Day 1 Thu : Arrival - Istanbul
Arrival and transfer from the airport to the hotel. Welcome
briefing. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2 Fri : Istanbul
Full day tour of Istanbul including the Topcapi Palace with the
harem, the Hipppodrome, Blue Mosque, St. Sophia's church and the Grand
Bazaar. Optional: dinner with belly dancing. (B)
Day 3 Sat: Gallipoli - Dardanelles - Canakkale
Morning departure for Gallipoli and visit Anzac Cove and Lone
pine cemetery, then cross the Dardanelles waterway to Canakkale for
Overnight .(B,D)
Day 4 Sun: Troy - Pergamum - Kusadasi
Morning visit to the legendary city of the Iliad with its famous wooden
horse, then tour the Acropolis of Pergamum with its famous Zeus altar
and the Asclepion, the very first hospital in the world. Ccntinue on to
Kusadasi, the popular beach town for overnight. (B,D).
Day 5 Mon : Ephesus - Virgin Mary's House-Kusadasi
Tour the best preserved and largest Hellenistic city in the world,
Ephesus, walk on the glorious ruins on 2,000 year old marble streets to
a huge theater, the library of Celsius, a gymnasium, Hadrian's temple,
visit the house on the hill where the Virgin Mary spend the last few
years of her life in seclusion. Optional tour of a typical local
village, Sirince (B,D).
Day 6 Tues: Greek Island Cruise.
After breakfast transfer to the pier and embark on a cruise
ship at Kusadasi for a 3 day cruise around the Greek Islands. (B)
Day 7 Wed: Cruise to Rhodes
A morning arrival in Rhodes, the island of Roses. You have a
full day to explore the largest and most beautiful island of the
Dodecanese archipelago on your own including the medieval center built
by the Knights of Templar. Stroll around the atmospheric alleys,
medieval side streets and bazaars of this town of friendly people. You
may join an optional sightseeing tour, or simply take a taxi to one of
many nearby beaches for a swim in the crystal clear Aegean waters. (B,L,D)
Day 8 Thu : Cruise - Santorini, Heraklion
This morning's port of call is the mythical island of Santorini,
where you are free to explore the land of the fabled Atlantis. Walk
around white-washed little houses built on steep rock side overlooking
the famed Volcano that destroyed most of the island in prehistoric
times. Your next port of call is Heraklion, the capital of Crete where
you may discover the town on your own or join an optional excursion to
the amazing Palace of Knossos. (A MUST! ) (B,L,D)
Day 9 Fri : Athens
After disembarking from the cruise, you are transferred to your
Athens hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore this bustling city.

Day 10 Sat : Athens
A morning city tour of the famed Acropolis with its dominating view and
site of the renowned Parthenon, followed by a visit to the Acropolis
Museum. Afternoon at leisure for last minute shopping or for visits to
the famous museums the metropolis offers. Overnight in Athens. (B)
Day 11 Sun : Athens
Transfer to the airport for the flight home. (B)
