DAY 1 LIMA
Upon your arrival to Jorge Chavez International Airport, meet our
representative and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Lima. Meals
included: None
DAY 2 LIMA Breakfast.
Full Day Lima City tour: Main Square, Cathedral of Lima, Casa
Aliaga, Larco Museum, Barranco & lunch at Caf� del Museo restaurant.
We will pick you up at the hotel to begin a tour of the city's main
avenues, boulevards, and squares. The tour will begin with an
exploration of Colonial Lima. First, we will stop off at the Main
Square, to get a chance to explore the square on foot and admire the
exteriors of the Government Palace, the Cathedral of Lima, and the
City Hall, all examples of Lima's still-present colonial
architectural opulence. We will visit the Cathedral of Lima; as
walking through the Cathedral�s numerous chapels. Discover various
architectural styles, from Renaissance to Neo-Classical, and learn
about the religious history of Peru. Then, we will visit Casa
Aliaga, a colonial mansion that is oldest continuously inhabited
private residence in the Southern Hemisphere.
Next, we tour the Pueblo Libre District and visit the Larco Museum,
an eighteenth-century Vice regal mansion that houses more than 3,000
years of Peru's pre-Columbian history. The museum boasts a supremely
fine collection of gold and silver jewelry and worship paraphernalia
that demonstrates the superb skill of ancient Peruvian gold and
silversmiths. The Larco Museum also contains a famous collection of
erotic ceramic tomb art. Lunch at Caf� del Museo restaurant. We will
complete our tour of Lima with a visit to the Bohemian neighborhood
of Barranco, an area called home by artists, photographers, and
authors. Walk along peculiar streets lined with Republican houses,
admire the splendid views, and visit the Puente de los Suspiros
(Bridge of Sighs), witness to untold numbers of past and present
romances, and source of inspiration for one of Peru's great
composers, Chabuca Granda. At the end, transfer to your hotel.

DAY 3
LIMA / CUSCO / SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS After breakfast,
transfer transfer to Lima's airport. Suggested Flight: LA 2019 Lima
/ Cusco 07:33 � 09:00 hrs. (not included). Upon your arrival to
Cusco, transfer to the hotel in the Sacred Valley. Visit to
Ollantaytambo Fortress, Pablo Seminario Pottery Workshop and Lunch
at Hacienda Huayoccari. On route, we will continue the trip toward
Ollantaytambo, which was once fiercely guarded by a massive
fortress. We will discover the large archaeological complex of what
used to serve as a wayside inn for royal delegations on long
journeys. Surviving structures here include multiple walls and
towers that were used to protect the citadel from possible
invasions.
Lunch at Hacienda Huayoccari. We will continue the visit to the
workshop of the renowned ceramic artist Pablo Seminario, where you
will learn about some of the techniques and designs used by ancient
Peruvian cultures. Pablo Seminario represents a new art expression,
providing continuity to these cultural inheritances, he concentrates
on making large-format works of art, "great plates" on his own
words; at his personal workshop, he has his own space for creating,
here the images that emerge are the result of the patient work of
following the tradition of pre-Colombian pottery, an ambitious task
which got underway over 20 years ago and which he continues to
develop together with his wife Maril�. At the end, transfer to the
airport. Overnight in The Sacred Valley of the Incas. Meals

DAY 4 SACRED VALLEY OF
THE INCAS Breakfast. Full Day Visit to Chinchero weaver�s by
Nilda Calla�aupa, Maras & Moray with lunch at Casa Iskay. This
morning, we will continue the trip toward Chinchero village, with an
altitude 12,375 feet above sea level (3,772 meters), famous for the
extraordinary beauty and quality of its textiles, and for its Sunday
fair, where local people dress in traditional colorful outfits and
travel down from their villages to trade their goods. Walk along its
traditional alleyways, next to your guide, and visit the weavers�
workshop of Nilda Calla�aupa, who 28 years ago began working in the
yard of her own house in Chinchero, and in 1996 her project became
the Center for Traditional Textiles of Cusco.
Then we will head towards the Salt Pans of Maras. The stark white of
the steeply descending salt pans juxtaposed against the green of the
surrounding mountain slopes is amazing. Lunch at Casa Iskay. The
journey continues to Moray, an Inca agricultural testing ground, the
site's system of circular terraces descends 490 feet (150 m).
Finally, transfer to your hotel for overnight in The Sacred Valley
of the Incas. Meals included: Breakfast and Lunch
DAY 5 SACRED VALLEY /
MACHU PICCHU / CUSCO After breakfast, transfer to the local train
station to board the purpose built Vistadome train. You will depart
to Aguas Calientes, enjoying a spectacular view along the way. Upon
arrival, you will board a bus that will take you to the entrance
gate of the Machu Picchu citadel.
Rediscovered by Hiram Bingham more than a century ago, Machu Picchu
is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Its
architectural beauty, spectacular natural landscapes and the energy
held in its enigmatic structures will take your breath away. Follow
in the footsteps of the ancient Incas as you explore this magical
citadel along with the tour guide. Lunch at Tinkuy restaurant �
Sanctuary Lodge. At the scheduled time, you will be assisted to take
the return Vistadome train. Upon the arrival at the station, your
private transfer service will be waiting to take you back to your
hotel. Overnight in Cusco. Meals included: Breakfast and Lunch
DAY 6 CUSCO After
breakfast a Cusco City Tour. We will begin the tour with visit to
the nearby Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, a colossal structure built with
huge carved rocks jointed with absolute accuracy, this astounding
sample of the Incan military architecture is, undoubtedly, the
greatest architectonic work of the Tahuantinsuyo. We will continue
the exploration of the Imperial City with a visit to the San Pedro
Market, which being the city�s main street market, will give you an
opportunity to get to know the products of Cusco, overwhelming you
with the sights, aromas, tastes, and colors of the region.

Next, we head to the Main Square to visit
the Cathedral and admire its exquisite vestibules and priceless
paintings from the Cusco School of the 17th and 18th centuries. We
will complete the day with an exploration of the artistic and
bohemian neighborhood of San Blas, home to many renowned artists.
Through narrow, cobblestone streets, we arrive at the main plaza of
San Blas, which is surrounded by artisan workshops, such as
Mend�vil, Olave, and M�rida. We will take our time to visit some
workshops and contemplate the artist�s works. Next, we will continue
to the San Blas Church, built in 1563 on top of an Inca Sanctuary.
The church is a simple structure, famous for its beautiful pulpit
that is carved from one single cedar tree � representing one of the
most exquisite works of wood carving in the Spanish churrigueresque
style done by indigenous hands. Lunch at Leisure. At the scheduled
time, transfer to the airport. Suggested Flight: LA 2038 Cusco /
Lima 17:15 � 18:47 hrs. (not included). Upon your arrival,
assistance at the airport with your international flight back home.
