ITINERARY

DAY 01: Arrival
Arrive at Rome or Florence Airport, pick your car up and depart to your Hotel Borgo near Siena. Free time and typical traditional dinner in the Borgo to start delighting with local products.
Overnight.

DAY 02: Siena & San Gimignano
This morning we suggest to visit Siena to take a walk in the main streets, squares and buildings hosting ancient houses of a medieval noble families. Visit the main square Piazza del Camp, considered one of the most beautiful of Europe, commanded by the Cathedral, one of the most important examples of Gothic architecture of Tuscany. Dont miss to sample some delicious traditional desserts like the Panforte in one of the many famous pastry shops in town.
In the afternoon visit on your own San Gimignano. This tiny walled town is located on a hill-top, intact through the centuries and famous for its numerous tall towers, frescoes and other valuable works of art. Moreover, you will be able to watch how skilled craftsmen produce handmade objects according to a long standing tradition of excellence.
On the way to San Gimignano along the ancient Via Francigena you will have a wine tasting in a wonderful winery in San Gimignano , a unique experience that will make unforgettable your trip in Italy. Different types of wines will be served with knowledge, charme and typical Tuscan sympathy, and explained through the passion, the energy and contagious enthusiasm.

DAY 03: Montepulciano & Pienza
In the morning depart for Montepulciano, one of the most characteristic and intact medieval cities. Visit a typical winery where you will have a wine tasting and then explore the wonderful town centre of the town full of elegant Renaissance palaces, ancient churches, charming squares and hidden corners.
In the afternoon continue with a visit to Pienza, the perfect example of a renaissance city and stop for a pecorino tasting at a local producers shop.

DAY 04 : Montalcino
Morning departure for Montalcino, famous for its Brunello, one of the best wines in the world. Stop in a characteristic Enoteca where you will have a Brunello wine tasting and where it will be also possible to buy some local products. Montalcino is not just wine, it is also very rich in artistic treasures. The historical center is dominated by the mighty and imposing Rocca or fortress built in 1361 to mark the passage of Montalcino under the domination of Siena. The views from its ramparts are spectacular and included the surrounding hills, mountain and valleys.

BORGO CASA BIANCA - Luxury country estate

DISTANCES: Asciano 10 km, Rapolano Terme 10 km, Pienza 25 km, Siena 38 km.
On the hills between Val di Chiana and the Crete Senesi Valley, not far from Siena, lies the hotel, residence, farm holiday Casabianca, an ancient borgo that has been restored to a beautiful property. The careful restoration has created an extremely varied property: its possible to stay in noble rooms, transformed to suites, some of which have original frescos of XII and IX centuries, or in simple, and rustic farm houses, a lot of which have a fireplace still in function.
ROOMS AND FACILITIES: 9 comfortable and elegant rooms with antique furniture and precious wall hangings. The Junior Suites have a living area; the Senior Suites have a separate living room.
All rooms have telephone, minibar air-conditioning/heating, satellite TV and bathrooms.
APARTMENTS: 20 comfortable and homely apartments, transformed out of the old living quarters of the farmhouse complex, carefully renovated by preserving the original architectural elements. Each apartment has a fully equipped cooking area, telephone, heating, air-conditioning, satellite TV and bathroom. The kitchenette is provided with electric cooker with oven and dishwasher.
All Suite and in Villa rooms are no smoking rooms.
The restaurant used to be the villas old chariot house, and afterwards a winery, from where it takes its name. The agricultural firm Casabianca is a biological cultivation and it produces cereals and Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
In addition: Cooking school and nearby horse-riding center. Tennis courts, private Heliport, Meeting rooms.
